We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Treasury Operations and Accounts Payable to join our team at Capital Vacations. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the team, tasks, and projects related to forecasting, banking administration, payments, banking relationships, and merchant card processes.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the Treasury and Accounts Payable team and oversee the day-to-day activities to meet the financial obligations of the organization.
- Establish a proactive partnership with Accounting, Financial Services, and Leadership to drive operational efficiencies.
- Participate in various projects across the financial landscape to promote process improvements and enhance the effectiveness of Treasury operations and Accounts Payable.
- Develop and maintain forecasting models in Excel, leveraging strong analytical and technical skills.
- Manage Accounts Payable processes, including vendor master, invoice processing, payment runs, aging payables research, and process improvements.
- Monitor the daily cash position and ensure adequate cash flow in the near term.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with banking partners, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Execute funding with hypothecation lenders to meet business needs.
- Work with the Treasurer to maintain insurance broker relationships and bind annual insurance programs.
- Set up merchant processing services, manage bank accounts, and maintain a database of MIDs and related information.
- Develop and maintain desk procedures for Treasury and Accounts Payable Analyst functions.
- Manage bank consolidation efforts across resort property management divisions.
- Coordinate the setup of bank products and services used by Treasury or other departments.
- Approve electronic payments using financial institutions' online platforms.
- Research and resolve bank questions and reconciliation issues.
- Perform special projects as assigned by management.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- 10+ years of work experience in treasury/cash management and Accounts Payable.
- 5+ years of experience in a manager role.
- Experience in a corporate, property management, bank, and payables operations environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong knowledge of developing and maintaining forecasting models.
- Strong computer skills, including advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines with excellent organizational skills.
- Proactive and motivated to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of Treasury operations and Accounts Payable.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of bank products and services.
