Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and manage patient appointment schedules
  • Room patients, take vitals, and obtain medical history
  • Perform lab draws and prepare samples and requisitions
  • Check patients in and out and schedule appointments
  • Manage patient charts and intakes
  • File patient records and make follow-up calls
  • Assist with superbills and charting
  • Answer phones and provide excellent customer service

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of experience in a medical office setting preferred
  • EMR systems experience preferred
  • Vital signs experience preferred
  • BLS certification preferred
  • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification preferred
