We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at K.A. Recruiting. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including blood work, urinalysis, and other diagnostic tests.
- Collect and process laboratory specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including microscopes, centrifuges, and other specialized instruments.
- Record and report test results, including abnormal findings and recommendations for further testing or treatment.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other laboratory personnel, to ensure accurate and timely test results.
- ASCP certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist.
- Previous experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in a core laboratory or generalist laboratory.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
