Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team in Eastern Oregon. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will be responsible for performing specialized procedures, training and teaching laboratory personnel, and contributing to the continuing education program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently perform complex laboratory procedures and tests.
- Train and educate laboratory personnel on new procedures and techniques.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of laboratory policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other laboratory professionals to ensure accurate and timely test results.
- Perform quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure laboratory accuracy and reliability.
Requirements:
- ASCP certification (or eligibility/equivalent certification)
- Bachelor's Degree in Science or Associate Degree in Science
- Experience in a laboratory setting is highly preferred
