Job Overview

The Industrial Workforce Development Manager will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new sales opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and expanding our presence in the staffing and logistics sectors.

This hybrid role offers the flexibility of working remotely while also engaging with clients in-person when needed.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both staffing sales and logistics, with a proven ability to meet sales targets and build long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development & Sales: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the staffing and logistics industries, focusing on expanding our client base.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective and existing clients to ensure long-term success.
  • Customized Solutions: Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored staffing and logistics solutions that meet the specific needs of each client.
  • Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential market opportunities to strategically position our services.
  • Lead Generation: Develop and execute strategies to generate leads, including networking, attending industry events, and leveraging social media and other sales channels.
  • Proposal Development: Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and solutions that highlight the value of our staffing and logistics services.
  • Sales Targets: Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets, consistently driving revenue growth for the company.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the operations, recruiting, and logistics teams to ensure client needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience), is preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in business development, sales, or account management within the staffing and logistics industries.
  • Strong understanding of workforce solutions, logistics operations, and industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and present customized sales proposals.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Comfortable with a hybrid work setup, with the ability to travel for client meetings when necessary.
