About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineering Senior Project Manager to join our team at Civil and Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC). As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for managing project teams to create land development plans for our commercial, institutional, and residential clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage project teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget
  • Perform quality control and assurance to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Interface with clients to understand their needs and expectations
  • Prepare proposals and manage project execution
  • Mentor and supervise junior engineers to develop their skills and knowledge
  • Review and approve project deliverables, including site layouts, grading, stormwater management, erosion control, and utility design
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in civil engineering project management
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering (or related field), M.S. in Civil Engineering preferred
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) in MA preferred
  • Experience in scope of service and budget development, and demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably
  • Ability to develop and mentor staff
  • Ability to provide technical review of civil engineering deliverables
  • Ability to prepare proposals and manage project execution
  • Ability to interface with clients, network, and develop business
