Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage project teams to complete engineering tasks, including airspace and earthwork volume calculations, technical report preparation, and design of stormwater management systems.
  • Develop proposals, project budgets, and schedules, and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Perform quality control and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and government officials to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Mentor and assist in the professional development of staff, including performance reviews and development goals.
Requirements:
  • 6-10 years' experience in civil engineering project management or a related field.
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering or a related field, with M.S. in Civil Engineering preferred.
  • Professional Engineer licensure (P.E.).
  • Proficient in technical software, including AutoCAD Civil 3D, hydraulic/hydrologic modeling software, and geotechnical modeling software.
  • Established clients and contacts in the Solid Waste sector.
  • Ability to manage project portfolios with annual professional fee revenues exceeding $250,000.
  • Experience in scope of service and budget development, and demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably.
  • Excellent communication skills, including experience communicating with staff, clients, contractors, and government officials.
