Senior Manager of Content Design

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Content Design to lead our client's content domain across key areas of their Marketplace and associate tools. As a key member of the Enterprise Services team, you will be responsible for guiding your team in creating high-quality content that drives the development of foundational tools, frameworks, and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a strategic vision for content design, ensuring alignment with the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • Lead a team of content designers in creating engaging, consistent, and compelling content that meets the needs of partners, suppliers, and associates.
  • Collaborate with design, product, engineering, and business partners to shape products and foster an inclusive experience for end-users.
  • Employ storytelling skills to present vision and content rationale to the wider team and leadership.
  • Identify, define, and implement solutions that integrate seamlessly into the lives of partners and associates.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated track record of working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and aligning stakeholders through sound rationale.
  • Deep appreciation for systems thinking and information architecture.
  • Ability to produce great work in short timeframes, multitask, and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Energy and empathy to motivate and support teams and partners.
  • Knack for leading by doing, inspiring, coaching, and contributing to the design org's culture.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Communications, Journalism, Digital Design, or similar.
  • 8+ years of experience in UX content strategy/design.
  • 3+ years as a people manager.
  • Portfolio with UX case studies showcasing craft, impact, and collaborative process.
  • Experience participating in peer reviews and working within a crit culture.
