Senior Manager of Content Design

Aquent Talent is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager of Content Design to lead our client's content domain across key areas of their Marketplace and associate tools. As a key member of the Enterprise Services team, you will be responsible for guiding your team in creating high-quality content that drives the development of foundational tools, frameworks, and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the content domain across key areas of the Marketplace and associate tools
  • Guide your team in creating high-quality content that drives the development of foundational tools, frameworks, and resources
  • Collaborate with design, product, engineering, and business partners to shape products and foster an inclusive experience for partners, suppliers, and associates
  • Employ your storytelling skills to present your vision and content rationale in a compelling and convincing manner to the wider team and leadership
  • Identify, define, and implement solutions that go beyond words and integrate seamlessly into the lives of partners and associates

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated track record working cross-functionally, shipping successful product copy in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience facilitating workshops and aligning stakeholders through the use of sound rationale
  • Deep appreciation for systems thinking and a keen understanding of information architecture from a design and content lens
  • Positive mindset with a penchant for puzzles, being nimble, and understanding what less is more means to the user
  • Ability to produce great work in short timeframes, multi-task across different projects and platforms, and adapt to the ever-changing priorities of the business
  • Energy and empathy to motivate and support teams and partners
  • Knack for leading by doing, inspiring, coaching, and contributing to the design org's culture

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Communications, Journalism, Digital Design, or similar
  • 8+ years of experience in UX content strategy/design (not product marketing)
  • 3+ years as a people manager
  • Portfolio with UX case studies showcasing your craft, impact, and collaborative process
  • Experience participating in peer reviews and working within a crit culture
