Essential Responsibilities of the Customer Engagement Specialist:

  • Welcome members and guests with enthusiasm and professionalism as they enter and exit the facility.
  • Anticipate and respond to members' and guests' needs promptly, ensuring efficient service while maintaining accuracy in a dynamic environment.
  • Answer phone calls in a friendly manner, providing knowledgeable and accurate information to inquiries.
  • Utilize strong communication and problem-solving skills to address customer concerns, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Conduct outreach to prospective members, assessing their membership requirements.
  • Process retail transactions accurately while striving to meet sales targets.
  • Engage in regular cleaning and sanitizing of the facility and equipment for a significant portion of the shift.
  • Provide accurate and customer-friendly responses to questions regarding business procedures and policies.

Required Skills:

  • Exceptional customer service skills, with a preference for 6-12 months of direct customer interaction experience.
  • Self-motivated individual who takes initiative with minimal supervision.
  • Punctual and reliable with a strong work ethic.
  • Basic computer skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • Willingness to obtain CPR/AED certification prior to employment and maintain certification while employed.

Physical Requirements of the Customer Engagement Specialist:

  • Frequent standing and walking throughout the facility to complete tasks during shifts.
  • Regular verbal communication in person or over the phone to exchange information.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals during shifts.
  • Regular cleaning and sanitizing of equipment and facilities.
  • Some bending, twisting, and reaching required to perform tasks.
