We are currently looking for a Full-Time Member Experience Specialist II, a multifaceted role that encompasses both teller and banking responsibilities.

Your Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering an outstanding member experience. This includes a variety of member service tasks such as:

  • Ensuring effective and professional execution of member service functions.
  • Assisting members through various remote delivery channels and meeting with them to assess their financial needs.
  • Identifying member needs and presenting suitable product or service options.
  • Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all deposit and consumer loan products.
  • Completing account maintenance tasks, including opening sub-accounts and managing signers.
  • Addressing member inquiries and resolving issues by providing clear information and options.
  • Processing teller transactions while adhering to compliance regulations.
  • Managing IRA accounts and products.
  • Consulting with members on financial management as necessary.
  • Handling consumer loan applications effectively and in accordance with policies.
  • Conducting assessments to determine member needs and processing loan documentation.
  • Evaluating member creditworthiness and preparing loans for underwriting approval.
  • Calculating debt ratios and verifying member information.
  • Facilitating loan servicing tasks such as payoffs and payment modifications.
  • Ensuring compliance with established Credit Union policies and legal standards.
  • Maintaining professional relationships with members and colleagues.
  • Utilizing the lobby queuing system effectively.
  • Promoting the Credit Union's reputation for quality and professionalism.
  • Coordinating communication with all departments and management.
  • Supporting other branches or departments as needed.
  • Participating in required meetings and keeping management informed of significant activities.
  • Actively identifying Credit Union services and products to meet performance goals.
  • Staying updated on economic conditions and regulatory changes.
  • Ensuring a clean and secure work environment.
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Familiarity with loan services, policies, and procedures.
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory standards related to lending.
  • Basic knowledge of consumer lending practices.
  • Experience in credit analysis.
  • Knowledge of the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA) and Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
  • Preferred: Minimum one year of experience in a financial institution.
  • Preferred: Previous lending or sales experience.
  • Preferred: Experience with IRA and consumer deposit products.
  • Preferred: Proven sales experience with consistent goal achievement.
  • Strong member service skills with the ability to resolve issues independently.
  • Experience in customer service and providing tailored solutions.
  • Familiarity with credit report analysis.
