Your Responsibilities:

As a Member Experience Advocate, you will be pivotal in delivering an outstanding member experience. Your role will encompass a variety of member service tasks, including:

  • Ensuring effective and professional execution of member service operations.
  • Assisting members through various remote channels and in-person consultations to identify financial needs and enhance relationships.
  • Proactively assessing member financial requirements and recommending suitable products and services.
  • Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all deposit and consumer loan offerings.
  • Executing account maintenance tasks such as opening sub-accounts, modifying signers, and processing check orders.
  • Addressing member inquiries and resolving issues through attentive listening and education.
  • Processing teller transactions while adhering to regulatory compliance.
  • Managing IRA accounts and consulting members on financial management.
  • Handling consumer loan applications, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance with policies.
  • Conducting creditworthiness assessments and preparing loan applications for underwriting.
  • Facilitating discussions for mortgage consultations and providing necessary documentation.
  • Building and maintaining professional relationships with members and colleagues.
  • Responding promptly to member requests and inquiries, upholding the core values of Kirtland Federal Credit Union.
  • Ensuring a clean and secure work environment.
  • Participating in meetings and collaborating with other departments as needed.
  • Staying informed about economic conditions and regulatory changes.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Familiarity with loan services, policies, and procedures.
  • Understanding of legal and regulatory standards related to lending.
  • Basic knowledge of consumer lending practices and credit analysis.
  • Preferred experience in a financial institution or related field.
  • Strong member service skills with the ability to resolve issues independently.
  • Experience in customer service and identifying member needs.
