Job Summary

The Salon Coordinator is a key member of our team, responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations at Salon De Cinzia. This role involves managing guest scheduling, checking in/out for services and retail sales, and acting as a liaison between guests and hair stylists.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and adhere to salon front desk duties as per company policy and procedures.
  • Assist the manager in daily operations and possess the ability to effectively run the daily operations in the absence of management.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients with a high standard of professionalism.
  • Manage multiple telephone calls, schedule accurate appointments, and process cash transactions throughout the shift.
  • Develop a strong understanding of all retail products and salon services to better assist guest inquiries and increase retail dollar sales per ticket.
  • Assist in salon inventory procedures as directed by management.
  • Maintain the salon's appearance and image, including cleaning retail, front desk, and other highly visible areas.
  • Resolve conflicts professionally and diplomatically.
  • Accept responsibility for receipts during the shift by following established cash management procedures.
  • Support and promote salon promotional programs and sales.
  • Interact with and maintain a harmonious, positive, and professional attitude with guests and staff at all times.

  • Excellent people and customer service skills, promoting employee and guest safety.
  • Exceptional phone etiquette.
  • Project a professional and fashion-forward image in accordance with company dress code.
  • Strong knowledge of all servicing/retail products and promotional programs offered by the salon.
  • Honed computer knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a demanding, fast-paced environment.
  • Possess a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to be a 'team player' and project positive energy with a 'yes, can do' approach.
  • Ability to work the required, agreed-upon schedule, which may include days/nights/weekends/holidays, and special events.
  • Take direction well with an eagerness to learn and excel in the position.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
  • May have to work on the computer for lengthy periods of time.
