Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of Middle Office professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful execution of their duties.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Middle Office operations, including process optimization and automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Front Office and Infrastructure, to ensure seamless communication and alignment on business needs, challenges, and strategies.
  • Oversee the due diligence process for potential new alternative investments, ensuring that all necessary steps are taken to ensure accurate and compliant transactions.
  • Manage the operations due diligence process for existing alternative investments, ensuring that all records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external entities, such as regulatory bodies and industry associations, to stay informed on industry developments and best practices.
  • Ensure that all Middle Office operations are compliant with relevant regulations and policies, and that staff is adequately trained on relevant procedures.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in financial services operations, with a focus on middle office functions.
  • Proven track record of leading and managing teams, with a focus on process improvement and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices, with the ability to ensure compliance.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field, with an MBA preferred.
