Job Title: Sales Representative, Emergency Services

At the American Red Cross, we are seeking a highly skilled Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling Training Services products and services to corporate, government, and not-for-profit customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell Training Services products and services to corporate, government, and not-for-profit customers.
  • Identify business and growth opportunities using an existing network of industry contacts to generate new business.
  • Ensure productive and professional relationships with prospective customers.
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships while operating as a key point of contact with Top Tier accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive decision makers.
  • Explore and build partner relationships with OneRedCross partners to develop and/or enhance business alliances (Chapter staff, Blood Services).
  • Responsible for attaining assigned sales volume and revenue objectives.
  • Responsible for operating within prescribed budget.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of successful experience in a B2B sales and/or product marketing position. EMT-B/EMT-P certification preferred. Emergency Services industry experience preferred or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
  • A current, valid driver's license with good driving record is required.
  • Knowledge of and experience in applying field sales techniques.
  • Proven executive level sales' skills and ability to acquire and manage large accounts.
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic computer skills and demonstrated ability to utilize MS Office programs and/or similar client relationship management applications.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience in emergency services.
  • Strong EMS sales experience.
  • Preferred experience in Salesforce.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
