The Opportunity

ML6 is seeking a seasoned Regional Sales Manager to join our team in the North East USA. Our client is a global leader in the manufacture of innovative instrumentation solutions for Process Measurement, Automation, Control, and HVAC applications.

With a strong brand reputation and high customer loyalty, our client offers customer-centric solutions and excellent products. These include solutions for temperature, humidity, pressure, strain, force, flow, level, pH, conductivity, indoor air quality, and other parameters that control and drive process efficiency.

This is an exciting opportunity to expand our client's product offerings and support their growth in the North East USA. The successful candidate will be responsible for calling on major OEM customers and key resale partners, reporting on product acceptance, recommending modifications, and developing new products based on field observations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Making direct calls to large key accounts
  • Making direct calls with distribution partners and their sales teams
  • Reporting on product acceptance and recommending modifications
  • Developing new products based on field observations
  • Communicating on competitors' technical and price performance
  • Demonstrating consistent urgency to accomplish organizational objectives
  • Advising management on general business conditions and market trends
  • Establishing and monitoring objectives for the region and territory
  • Providing and reviewing annual revenue forecasts and expense budgets
  • Maintaining key performance indicators for sales activities
  • Performing product presentations targeted to groups consistent with Company market strategies
  • Collaborating with sales management to assign performance goals for sales representatives and distributors
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of outside field sales experience
  • Solid business acumen
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Understanding of our client's products, markets, and applications
