Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Plant Operations, Maintenance, Environmental Services, Safety, and Security functions in accordance with established standards, PAM Health policies, and budgetary constraints.
  • Conduct regular inspections to maintain facility and equipment, ensuring compliance with environmental care standards and safety codes.

Qualifications:

Education and Training: High school diploma or equivalent required; community electrical maintenance license may be necessary. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. Certification as a Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM) is desirable.

Experience: A minimum of five years of relevant experience is required, with a background in hospital maintenance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with JACHO, NFPA, and OSHA regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Plant Operations equipment usage and maintenance.
  • Ability to interpret safety rules, policies, procedures, and technical documents.
  • Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence.
  • Experience in managing departmental budgets.
  • Ability to apply common sense to follow instructions in various formats.
  • Capability to address problems involving multiple variables in standardized situations.
  • Working knowledge of fire alarm systems and other life safety equipment.
  • Ability to implement and sustain a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
  • Computer proficiency for managing software programs and office applications.
