Compensation for this role starts at $24.04 per hour, with potential adjustments based on relevant education and experience, reaching up to $27.40 per hour. This equates to an annual salary of approximately $50,000 to $57,000 for full-time employment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage comprehensive facility maintenance to ensure all locations remain safe and operational.
- Oversee the maintenance of equipment and supplies, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings to identify repair and renovation needs, providing monthly reports on facility conditions.
- Lead capital projects, including new construction and permitting processes.
- Coordinate and manage facility inspections, including those from fire and health departments.
- Ensure the safety and cleanliness of both interior and exterior spaces.
- Maintain clean and safe grounds, including landscaping and parking areas.
- Plan and oversee all installation and refurbishment projects.
- Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships for facility maintenance services.
- Perform repairs and enhancements on buildings, vehicles, and equipment, coordinating with contractors as needed.
- Keep a detailed maintenance log and generate reports on repairs, safety incidents, and other relevant occurrences.
- Organize maintenance and cleaning projects involving volunteers and clients, supervising their contributions.
- Maintain an inventory of maintenance, cleaning, and janitorial supplies, adhering to established procurement procedures.
- Prepare facilities for adverse weather conditions and respond to emergencies as required.
- Ensure tools and equipment are secured and accounted for daily.
- Report any emergency or safety issues to the supervisor promptly and ensure repairs are completed within 24 hours.
- Maintain accurate client files with all necessary documentation and updated information.
- Complete mandatory training courses within specified timeframes.
- Adhere to the ethical standards, policies, and procedures of IMPOWER Inc.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in custodial or related fields.
- Successful completion of background screenings through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, State, and County.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and auto insurance, along with a clean driving record.
- Negative results from a multi-panel drug screening.
