Job Overview

Position Summary: The Facilities Operations Manager is accountable for ensuring that all properties and equipment under the management of IMPOWER Inc are maintained to the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and operational efficiency. This role includes overseeing contractors and managing significant responsibilities such as capital projects, asset management, and budget oversight.

Compensation: The starting pay for this role is $24.04 per hour, with potential adjustments based on relevant education and experience, reaching up to $27.40 per hour. The annualized salary ranges from $50,000 to $57,000 for full-time employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all facets of facility maintenance, ensuring that buildings remain safe and functional through routine preventative measures.
  • Oversee the maintenance of equipment and supplies to comply with health and safety regulations, including assessing management and expected lifespan.
  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify repair and renovation needs, providing monthly reports on findings.
  • Lead capital projects, including support for new construction and necessary permitting.
  • Coordinate and supervise facility inspections by relevant authorities, including fire and health departments.
  • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of both interior and exterior spaces.
  • Maintain the grounds, ensuring they are clean and safe, including landscaping and parking areas.
  • Plan and manage all installations and refurbishments within the facilities.
  • Negotiate contracts and manage vendor relationships for facility maintenance services.
  • Perform repairs and enhancements on buildings, vehicles, and equipment, coordinating with contractors as needed.
  • Keep a detailed maintenance log and compile reports on repairs, safety issues, and other relevant occurrences.
  • Organize cleaning, painting, and maintenance projects involving volunteers and clients, overseeing their contributions.
  • Maintain an inventory of maintenance, cleaning, and janitorial supplies, adhering to established procurement procedures.
  • Prepare facilities for varying weather conditions and respond appropriately to emergencies.
  • Ensure tools and equipment are secured and accounted for on a daily basis.
  • Report all emergency and safety concerns to the supervisor promptly and ensure repairs are completed within 24 hours.
  • Maintain client files with all necessary case management documentation and updated information.
  • Complete required training within the designated timeframe.
  • Adhere to the ethical standards, policies, and procedures of IMPOWER Inc.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in custodial or a related field.
  • Successful completion of background screenings through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, State, and County.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and auto insurance, along with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass a multi-panel drug screening.
