Job Summary:

This is a unique opportunity to work with critical infrastructure data centers and utilize your knowledge and experience to service customer contracts. As a Thermal Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, adjusting, servicing, and repairing all data center equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize exceptional operational understanding of thermal systems, including split systems, DX systems, glycol, controls, and more.
  • Train customers and contractors on the use of thermal equipment.
  • Perform standard preventative maintenance duties on all Liebert/Vertiv equipment efficiently and without requiring supervision.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, change out compressors and failed parts, and more.
  • Proficiently solder, braze refrigerant lines, water lines, and other equipment.
Qualifications:
  • One-year certificate from a college or trade school, and five years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient working with Liebert/Vertiv equipment required; at least a few years of experience preferred.
  • EPA Certification.
  • Recent experience using a vacuum pump, micron gauge, and refrigerant reclaim machine.
  • Valid driver's license to drive to customer sites in a company-provided vehicle.
  • Available to perform scheduled on-call and overtime duties.
  • Prior safety training and OSHA 10 preferred.
