We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant General Manager to join our team at Hand Cut Chophouse Nashville. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for supporting and managing the restaurant's daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations Management: Support and manage the restaurant's daily operations, including front and back of house, to ensure seamless execution and exceptional customer experiences.
  • Leadership and Team Management: Collaborate with the General Manager to maintain high standards of service and food quality, create and manage staff schedules, and lead by example to motivate and manage teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints to ensure an excellent dining experience, and maintain a positive atmosphere that reflects the company's commitment to true hospitality.
  • Financial Management: Monitor financial performance, including labor costs, to optimize profitability, and support inventory management to maintain adequate supplies.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness regulations are followed in accordance with company policies and local laws.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is a plus.
  • Experience: At least 1+ years of management experience in a high-volume restaurant setting.
  • Certifications: TABC Server Permit required per local law.
  • Skills: Strong commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences, resolving complaints effectively, and maintaining a positive atmosphere; proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage teams in a dynamic environment; ability to manage staff schedules and labor costs effectively; effective time management and adaptability skills to handle various tasks.
