Job Description:

Dewberry is a leading professional services firm with a strong presence in the market. Our team of experts is dedicated to delivering high-quality services to our clients. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Department Manager to join our team in Raleigh, NC.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical design and management, with experience in leading teams and managing projects. They will be responsible for overseeing the electrical department, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop their team members.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the electrical department and ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Manage and develop a team of electrical engineers and designers.
  • Oversee the design and implementation of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and controls.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Develop and implement department standards and procedures.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and budget.
Requirements:
  • 15+ years of experience in electrical design and management.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Experience in staff management and department management.
  • Knowledge of construction process and AIA and state construction contracts.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
