Position Overview:
As a Treasury Analyst, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the management of daily cash liquidity and the forecasting process. This position involves handling daily cash accounting, analyzing bank fees, and assisting with the administration of bank accounts and portals. You will also support the execution of repo and FHLB trades, collaborating with various departments such as finance, tax, investment, and actuarial, as well as engaging with external entities like investment managers and auditors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support senior analysts in all aspects of cash management, including cash concentration, short-term borrowing, and investing, ensuring sufficient liquidity.
  • Collaborate with the Treasury team and investment managers to project short-term and long-term cash flows for effective daily cash positioning.
  • Assist in managing inter-company cash flows, including lending between entities.
  • Contribute to cash flow forecasting across multiple business units.
  • Ensure precise, complete, and timely accounting entries for daily cash transactions.
  • Act as a shared administrator for the treasury management system and banking applications.
  • Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures, while also proposing enhancements to existing practices.
  • Conduct analysis of bank fees to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Mathematics, with a preference for candidates possessing 1+ years of experience in cash management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and systems skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail is critical.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial concepts is highly preferred.
  • Self-motivated and well-organized.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Certification as a Treasury Professional is preferred.
