About the Role

TAMKO Building Products LLC is seeking a highly skilled Territory Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our full line of residential roofing products, roofing accessories, and waterproofing products to distributors, lumber dealers, roofing contractors, builders, architects, and commercial property owners in assigned sales territories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Promotion and Sales: Develop and execute sales strategies to promote and sell TAMKO's products to customers in assigned territories.
  • Customer Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Travel and Sales Calls: Travel throughout assigned territories to meet with customers, conduct sales calls, and demonstrate products.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare sales reports, expense accounts, and other administrative tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or at least four years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Travel Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel by air transportation in and out of assigned territories. Overnight stays away from home are required.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment
  • Extended Work Hours: Frequent extended work hours may be required.
  • Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

  • Computer and Office Equipment: The employee must be able to operate a computer and other office equipment.
