About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Residency Program Specialist to join our team at SSM Health. As a key member of our nursing team, you will play a critical role in creating a supportive learning environment for new graduate nurses to develop their skills and advance their careers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nursing residency programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of new graduate nurses.
  • Collaborate with preceptors and nurse leaders to ensure the successful transition of new graduate nurses into the professional practice role.
  • Design and deliver educational programs to promote clinical reasoning and skill development among nurse residents.
  • Utilize technology to develop personalized learning plans for nurse residents and track their progress.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to preceptors and nurse residents to promote a culture of mutual respect and trust.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Three years' registered nurse experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
