As the Operations Team Leader, you will receive comprehensive training to effectively support a team of delivery drivers tasked with transporting packages to various locations. Ideal candidates will exhibit strong leadership qualities, reliability, and a positive demeanor. This position requires a robust work ethic, the ability to handle challenging situations, and effective time management skills to meet daily operational standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Team Leader:

  • Prioritize safety for yourself, colleagues, partners, and customers
  • Exemplify professionalism and positively represent the culture of Star Dust Logistics
  • Ensure adherence to safety policies and procedures at all times
  • Uphold quality standards consistently
  • Provide assistance to team members as needed
  • Possess a basic understanding of technology, including smartphone usage for package delivery
  • Utilize Microsoft Office products effectively
  • Occasionally assist with package deliveries to support drivers or fulfill missed commitments
  • Educate, train, and mentor Delivery Drivers to maintain high delivery standards
  • Promptly report any incidents or interactions that could affect customer trust in Star Dust Logistics

Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Frequency: Bi-Weekly

Hourly Wage: $20.00

Basic Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Preferred prior professional driving experience
  • 2-5 years of supervisory experience
  • Multilingual capabilities are a plus
