Job Title: Bus Dispatcher

Overview:

MV Transportation is seeking a highly skilled and bilingual dispatcher to join our team. As a dispatcher, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services. Your primary responsibility will be to direct the day-to-day transit fixed route operation and report to the Operations Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with drivers and clients in a professional manner to resolve any issues or concerns.
  • Monitor and track sign-in/sign-out times, routes, and service issues to ensure timely and safe operations.
  • Collaborate with the Road Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, or General Manager to address any service issues or concerns.
  • Participate in analysis and review of operating performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Supervisor or General Manager.

Qualifications:

  • One year of previous dispatcher experience preferred.
  • Two years of customer service experience is preferred.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Excel & Word) is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and maintain composure under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrate a high customer service commitment and professional phone manner.
