About the Role

SAIC is seeking a highly skilled Data Targeter to join our team in an emerging mission area. As a Data Targeter, you will play a critical role in coordinating with mission partners to understand and prioritize data needs, interpret data visualizations, and apply analytic tools to identify and pursue data sources to fulfill data requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with mission partners to understand and prioritize data needs
  • Interpret data visualizations and apply analytic tools to identify and pursue data sources
  • Perform data evaluation to ensure quality, integrity, and suitability for ingestion into customer systems
  • Work as a member of a team and independently under minimal supervision and direction
Requirements
  • Current/active TS/SCI with poly
  • Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience conducting technical targeting analysis or a total of 10 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience working with sponsor data types and tools
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience conducting analysis of multiple sources of intelligence
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience working with customer data
  • Foundational python knowledge or other coding language
  • Experience in using data science environments such as Anaconda, Juypter, and Spyder
  • Experience in using open source data to perform analysis
  • Experience using data visualization tools
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience using SQL or other querying language
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience brokering requirements and/or coordinating across organizations to meet mission data needs
  • Familiarity with sponsor-specific communication applications and processes
  • Creative problem solver with critical thinking skills
  • Experience working both independently and as part of a team
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in writing and coordination using Sponsor-specific communication applications
  • Knowledge of the Sponsor's data lifecycle streams and management processes
