Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Content Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic team and drive brand awareness and establish industry leadership. The ideal candidate will have a background in creating compelling marketing content, a current understanding of the web development process, and a knack for rapid learning and adaptation.

This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and visual storytelling with a focus on driving brand awareness and establishing industry leadership to achieve marketing objectives and overall business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement content marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and support industry leadership initiatives.
  • Craft compelling messaging briefs for various marketing materials, ensuring alignment with brand voice and target audiences through effective copywriting.
  • Develop detailed web briefs for website development, focusing on SEO/SEM to enhance the customer experience, incorporating strong writing skills.
  • Utilize SEO and content marketing principles to maximize the reach and effectiveness of digital marketing efforts.
  • Conduct market, competitor, and industry research to stay up to date with the latest trends.
  • Develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns to promote brand awareness, enhance customer engagement, and drive new business.
  • Assist in marketing activities such as events planning, advertising, and sales enablement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce high-quality digital assets and materials.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field(s) and/or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, and content marketing, preferably within the technology sector.
  • Knowledge or interest in Space Exploration, Military, Defense, and Oil and Gas industries.
  • Ability to translate technical jargon into audience-friendly communication.
  • Understanding of content marketing, SEO/SEM, and digital marketing strategies.
  • Excellent copywriting, editing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven success working with cross-functional teams.
  • Understanding of digital and social media marketing (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google Display Network, Google Search).
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics for data analysis and strategy optimization.
  • Strong project management skills, from conception to completion.

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent, On site only

California Pay Range: $70,000—$85,000 USD
