In this role, you will play a vital part in restoring properties affected by various types of damage, ensuring that we uphold our commitment to making every situation "Like it never even happened".
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct and assess restoration tasks, including but not limited to water removal, fire damage restoration, setup of specialized equipment, and demolition work.
- Manage inventory and upkeep of work vehicles, ensuring all necessary tools and supplies are available for each assignment.
- Communicate effectively regarding safety risks, job site observations, and equipment needs with supervisors.
- Acquire and enhance restoration skills to elevate the SERVPRO brand and advance within the organization.
- Prepare work areas for restoration activities, including setting up staging areas and necessary equipment.
- Collaborate with management and fellow technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
- Execute production tasks as directed.
- Perform cleanup and organization of the job site at the end of each project, maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
Position Requirements
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
Skills and Physical Requirements
- Capability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at elevated heights, and navigate confined spaces (e.g., crawl spaces, attics).
- Proficiency in repetitively pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying objects.
- Comfortable working with cleaning agents and chemicals.
Compensation is commensurate with experience, including overtime opportunities.
