This position is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of facility support equipment, including maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as experience with software used in manufacturing equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and repair machinery, electrical and mechanical systems, and diagnose issues.
- Read and interpret system manuals and technical documentation.
- Install, connect, and diagnose various systems, including electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize downtime and ensure energy efficiency.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and propose methods to eliminate hazards.
- Work independently or as part of a team to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- 2-year technical degree or 3 years of experience in maintaining electrical and mechanical systems.
- Experience with software used in manufacturing equipment is preferred.
- Ability to lift 30-40 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient computer skills and ability to read schematics and electrical circuits.
- Competitive hourly pay rate, targeted between $20.00 to $35.00.
