Licensed Customer Service - Insurance

Job Overview

We are looking for committed Property & Casualty (P&C) licensed agents to join our team for upcoming customer service roles. The work schedule may vary and could include weekends.

As a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative, you will operate within established guidelines to deliver customer service, sales, and retention efforts for various Property & Casualty personal line products. You will engage with our members through multiple communication channels, such as inbound calls, emails, and chat, to provide essential coverage and guidance to ensure their financial security.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and manage existing and potential risks related to business activities.
  • Ensure that risks associated with business operations are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled.
  • Adhere to written risk and compliance policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate the Property & Casualty member experience by responding to inquiries through various contact methods.
  • Utilize developing knowledge of personal lines insurance to assist members with quotes, binding new business, policy details, billing, and coverage provisions.
  • Assess member needs and provide comprehensive and accurate advice and solutions.
  • Utilize available tools and resources to support members effectively.
  • Navigate multiple systems while maintaining engaging interactions with members.
  • Maintain the required Property & Casualty (P&C) license and state registrations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of customer service experience in insurance or financial services.
  • Ability to obtain Property & Casualty (P&C) license and state registrations within the designated timeframe.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple applications simultaneously.
  • Completion of a job-related assessment may be necessary.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current active personal lines or property and casualty license.
  • Military service or being a military spouse.
  • Experience in a fast-paced contact center environment.
  • Experience in frequent communication with customers via phone, email, or in-person.
