Position: Senior Python Engineer with AWS (Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 12 years of overall experience)
Location: Hybrid
Contract Duration: 12+ Months

Key Responsibilities:

  • 7+ years of experience in cloud development and operational support.
  • Proficient in Python development with Boto3, APIs, JSON, and database integration using RDS and DynamoDB.
  • Experience in deploying applications on AWS ECS Clusters.
  • Skilled in troubleshooting performance and capacity issues for applications on ECS clusters.
  • Experience in creating and publishing CloudWatch dashboards, including custom metrics.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and automating solutions using AWS services such as Lambda, IAM, DynamoDB, RDS, Redshift, Glue, EC2, S3, VPC, SNS, SQS, etc.
  • Analyze existing on-premises application architecture and develop cloud-compatible solutions for migration.
  • Develop and migrate mission-critical services while building automation to proactively detect and prevent issues.
  • Oversee changes going into production, including asset tagging, cost and capacity analysis, vulnerability, and patch management.
  • Define auto-scaling processes to optimize service and compute utilization.
  • Ability to develop applications and deploy them in AWS cloud across multi-region, multi-AZ distributed systems.
  • Design and build end-to-end observability for applications running on the AWS platform.
  • Leverage Terraform and contribute new Terraform templates for organizational reuse.
  • Ensure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions.
