Overview:
As an AWS Cloud Native Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable cloud-native applications utilizing the AWS platform.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS leveraging services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
  • Implement serverless architectures with AWS Lambda functions using Python.
  • Design and orchestrate workflows through AWS Step Functions and State Machines.
  • Create and manage SOAP-based web services utilizing relevant technologies.
  • Ensure security and data integrity by implementing custom headers for web services.
  • Optimize the transmission of binary data in web services through MTOM attachments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine user stories and deliver iterative solutions.
  • Maintain code quality and performance through automated testing and code reviews.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Stay updated with AWS services and best practices, sharing knowledge within the team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated experience with XML, XSD, WSDL, and related technologies.
  • Strong background as a software developer with a focus on cloud computing principles.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, particularly Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, and S3.
  • Proficiency in Python; familiarity with additional programming languages is advantageous.
  • Experience with AWS Step Functions and State Machines is preferred.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and the SCRUM framework.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and teamwork skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Developer) are advantageous.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
