Job Summary:

This is a full-time, unclassified position in the Public Works Department. As a Clerical Support Specialist III, you will perform complex clerical tasks, provide administrative support, and assist with editing documents.

About the Department:

The Public Works Department is responsible for maintaining the city's infrastructure, including roads, buildings, and utilities. We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented individuals to join our team.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing complex clerical functions, including typing, data entry, and record-keeping. They will also provide administrative support to various departments within the city.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex clerical tasks, such as typing, data entry, and record-keeping
  • Provide administrative support to various departments within the city
  • Assist with editing letters, spreadsheets, Council Letters, and Council Memos
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should also be proficient in Microsoft Office and have experience working in an office environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • At least two years of experience working in an office environment
Estimated Salary Range:

$21.57 - $29.51 hourly
