Project Support Clerk

Job Overview
The Project Support Clerk plays a crucial role in assisting the Project Manager or Superintendent by managing daily operational tasks that contribute to the project's overall success. Candidates with backgrounds in mechanical, industrial, or construction fields are preferred. A thorough understanding of safety protocols related to the work environment is essential. This position may require working in settings such as plant operations or construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Input personnel data into the computer system
- Maintain accurate records in employee documentation
- Facilitate the collection and distribution of paperwork between field employees
- Generate reports for both active and inactive personnel
- Assist in monitoring costs associated with Field Change Notices
- Create and manage purchase orders
- Order necessary materials and equipment
- Provide assistance to other team members as required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Effective hearing and comprehension skills for following and giving directions
- Capable of performing a range of physical tasks from sedentary to heavy work
- Proficient in operating various office equipment
- Ability to climb and maintain balance on various structures, including stairs and scaffolding
- Frequent use of hands for grasping, lifting, and handling objects
- Position may involve prolonged periods of bending, twisting, walking, reaching, squatting, sitting, or standing
- Must navigate uneven terrain and multi-story buildings without elevators
