Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Loan Operations Specialist to join our team at MidFirst Bank. As a key member of our loan operations team, you will play a critical role in mitigating collateral-related risk and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and review hazard, builder's risk, business assets, and general liability insurance to mitigate collateral risk.
  • Manage relationships with outsourced vendors to ensure accurate processing of notices and force-placements.
  • Review daily reports and post for business unit managers and staff to monitor for notices mailed.
  • Manage flood insurance monitoring to ensure compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements.
  • Mitigate flood risk through weekly audits of flood record setup and monthly flood audits of all flood hazard determinations.
  • Monitor ad valorem tax payments to mitigate risk related to loss of collateral or lien position.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of flood monitoring regulations and experience reviewing and analyzing insurance policies.
  • Excellent reading, comprehension, and writing skills.
  • Strong knowledge of typical Credit Agreement Covenants and consumer and commercial loan documents.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills.
  • Basic knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code, Regulation B, C, Z, RESPA, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other federal and state regulations on lending and consumer compliance.
