**Job Summary**

The successful Assistant Property Manager will work closely with the Property Manager to ensure the day-to-day operations of the property run smoothly. This role requires a strong understanding of HUD and Tax Credit regulations, as well as excellent customer service skills.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with the leasing process, from initial application to move-in, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for residents.
  • Collect rent and other income, make bank deposits, and forward receipts, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Enter data into resident accounts receivable ledgers, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Assist with resident records documentation, ensuring all necessary information is complete and accurate.
  • Respond to customer service requests, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
  • May work outside normal business hours to respond to the needs of the property.

**Requirements**

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) year of administrative, office, accounting, or customer service experience.
  • Property management work experience and knowledge of applicable local and federal housing laws.
  • Knowledge of real estate property management applications.

**Preferred Qualifications**

  • One (1) year of experience in property management, with a focus on customer service and regulatory compliance.
  • Knowledge of HUD and Tax Credit regulations, as well as local and federal housing laws.
