Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations and lead a team of warehouse workers at Niagara Bottling. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Enforce operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current.
  • Inspect the physical condition of the warehouse and equipment.
  • Coordinate repairs for equipment with outside vendors and/or forklift mechanics.
  • Oversee warehouse operations in the absence of the Warehouse Manager.
  • Report high-cost repairs to department management.
  • Work with production supervisors to ensure coordination of warehouse activities with activities of other functions such as production, sales, records control, and purchasing.
  • Report higher-level issues to management.
  • Oversee receiving and cycle count activities.
  • Train all new warehouse employees and re-evaluate training needs based on individual performance.
  • Coordinate staffing requirements to cover attendance shortages.
  • Direct the salvage of damaged or used material.
  • Perform month-end inventory and cycle counts to ensure physical inventories reconcile with books.
  • SuperUser (Advanced team member) for Warehouse WMS system.
  • Ensure the maintenance of a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse.
  • Participate in planning personnel safety and plant protection activities.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • 4 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
    • 4 years of experience in a position similar to this one.
    • 4 years of experience managing people and/or projects.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    • 6 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
    • 6 years of experience working in a position similar to this one.
    • 6 years of experience managing people and/or projects.

Education:
  • Minimum Required: High School Diploma.
  • Preferred: Associate's Degree in Logistics, Business Administration or other related field.
