Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Sanitation Specialist to join our team at The Chefs' Warehouse. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment in our warehouse and office areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness in warehouse and office areas, including sweeping, mopping, and cleaning floors, walls, and equipment.
  • Operate a stand-up electric forklift and other equipment as needed.
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and consolidate trash for weekly pickup.
  • Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
  • Clean and restore building interiors using commercial cleaning equipment.
  • Monitor building security and safety, and perform tasks such as locking doors after operating hours.
  • Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as needed.
  • Notify management of the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
  • Remove snow from sidewalks, driveways, and parking areas, and spread snow melting chemicals.
  • Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding for events.
Requirements
  • Experience with stand-up electric forklift operation and certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
