Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Executive to join our team at Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced sales professional to capitalize on the growth of our catering and event business.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to increase sales revenue through networking, cold calling, and warm leads.
  • Respond to potential guest inquiries and provide information regarding catering and event services.
  • Foster relationships with meeting planners, corporate event contacts, and related social markets to develop business.
  • Prepare proposals/contracts and present to prospective guests/customers detailing pricing and service offerings.
  • Follow up on guest turnovers, lost business, and past accounts.
  • Maintain metrics for sales pipeline and monitor booking trends to produce forecast figures and month-end/weekly reports.
  • Work with guests to organize, plan, and guide them in planning private dining functions and events.
  • Understand meeting room set-up and capabilities to determine appropriate customer space needs.
  • Develop menus and agendas.
  • Ensure BEOs (Banquet Event Orders) are issued and that all pertinent correspondence with outside vendors is complete.
  • Interact with outside planners and vendors for special events.
  • Handle all related administrative details for catering functions and events.
  • Maintain all information on scheduled events in Triple Seat software.

What We Offer:

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits and opportunities for career advancement.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of restaurant event sales and planning experience.
  • Innovative, energetic, and willing to make daily cold calls, sight visits, and be aggressive in generating sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal and staff management skills, as well as great organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

This is a Monday-to-Friday position with some evening and weekend work required, particularly during the holiday season.
