Mental Health Counselor

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Comprehensive Life Resources. As a key member of our behavioral services treatment team, you will provide case management and counseling services to assigned clients. Your expertise will be essential in helping individuals achieve treatment goals and engage in the recovery process.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical case coordination and counseling to assigned clients
- Work as part of a clinical care team to provide integrated healthcare to consumers at CLR
- Complete risk assessments and coordinate treatment planning and services with other program staff, consultants, and relevant agencies
- Work with consumers to achieve treatment goals; utilize Motivational Interviewing Techniques to engage clients in the recovery process
- Complete paperwork in a timely manner and maintain accurate records
- Participate in intake and assessment, treatment planning, and psychiatric review of cases
- Attend treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and designated staff training and consultation sessions
- Ensure that ethical and professional standards of practice are maintained
- Successfully completed and graduated from MH Counselor training at CLR, or enrolled in a qualified Masters degree program
- Demonstrated ability to meet productivity and clinical paperwork standards
- Demonstrated ability to work with mentally ill individuals
- WA State credential
- Strong computer skills
- Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize deadlines, work independently, take initiative, and maintain confidentiality
- Valid Washington State driver's license; proof of insurance
