Mental Health Therapist Position

Marion County is seeking a part-time Mental Health Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and transition-age youth in the Woodburn and surrounding communities. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, and at least one year of full-time, post-Master's degree experience in the behavioral health field.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and transition-age youth.
- Conduct intake medical mental health assessments, including screening for A/D issues.
- Document services to meet contract, administrative rule, and billing requirements.
- Provide consultation, training, and orientation regarding mental health and co-occurring disorders treatment to team members, student interns, and other professionals.
- Provide case management services to clients.
- Assist clients and families with accessing community supports/resources.
- Assist with making referrals for services.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- At least one year of full-time, post-Master's degree experience in the behavioral health field.
- Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers, or credentialed or registered through the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
Preferred Qualifications:
- LCSW, CSWA, or eligible for LCSW licensure.
