Job Summary

This position provides mental health services to children, adolescents, and transition age youth in the Salem and surrounding communities. The successful candidate will provide individual and family therapy, conduct mental health assessments, and provide other therapeutic supports such as case management and coordination of care.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and transition age youth.
* Conduct mental health assessments, including screening for alcohol and drug issues.
* Document services to meet contract, administrative rule, and billing requirements.
* Provide consultation, training, and orientation regarding mental health and co-occurring disorders treatment to team members, student interns, and other professionals.
* Provide case management services to clients, assisting them with accessing community supports and resources.

Requirements

* State of Oregon licensure, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
* Master's degree in psychology, social work, recreational therapy, music therapy, art therapy, or a behavioral science field.
* One year of postgraduate degree experience in the behavioral health field.

This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, providing services to clients with complex needs and diagnoses. The successful candidate will be able to establish positive working relationships with other employees, individuals, and their families, and will be able to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Benefits

Marion County offers a generous benefits package to regular employees working 50% or more of the regularly scheduled work week and their eligible dependents. Temporary employees and part-time regular employees working less than 50% of the regularly scheduled work week are not eligible for benefits.
