We are in search of a skilled Wealth Advisor eager to contribute to our expanding investment management and trust services firm. This role entails fostering and nurturing long-term, trusted relationships with potential clients, existing clients, and credit union partners. Additionally, the Wealth Advisor will proactively seek new business opportunities while overseeing the daily management of trusts, estates, agencies, and IRAs. The ideal candidate will possess a growth-oriented mindset and a genuine passion for service, helping individuals define and achieve their financial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain referral networks within designated credit unions and the broader community to cultivate relationships and generate new business opportunities.
  • Engage with prospective clients to assess their needs, present proposals for new business, and secure lasting relationships.
  • Build long-term, trusted relationships with clients, delivering exceptional customer service that surpasses expectations.
  • Manage client relationships by thoroughly understanding their needs, devising innovative solutions and strategies, and promptly addressing and resolving client inquiries.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments and introduce new solutions to enhance service offerings.
  • Leverage financial planning to provide value to clients, maintain relationships, and identify additional opportunities.
  • Administer and maintain client accounts, including setting up new accounts, managing special distributions, assessing tax implications, and approving expenditures.
  • Ensure precise administration of accounts to comply with all regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with members of the First Community Trust team who possess specialized expertise (e.g., investments, trusts, estates, financial planning) to benefit clients as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in financial services or a trust environment is preferred.
  • Proven ability to develop, establish, and grow new and existing relationships.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving annual asset growth and performance objectives.
  • Active involvement in community and business organizations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence, motivate, and proactively build relationships.
  • Proficient in assisting others in problem resolution and providing recommendations.
  • Exemplary collaboration and leadership capabilities.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adept at reading, understanding, and interpreting various legal documents.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
