We are seeking an experienced Senior Automated Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team in support of a nationwide program.
Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of software systems.
Key Responsibilities- Designing and implementing test automation strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Developing and maintaining automated test plans and procedures
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify areas for automation and implement solutions
- Creating and managing test automation resources, including scripts and frameworks
- Troubleshooting and documenting defects
- Providing technical guidance and support to junior engineers
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical degree
- 8+ years of experience in automated software testing and development
- Strong expertise in Java, C#, or Python programming languages
- Familiarity with Selenium, TestNG, and Jenkins
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience with EDI and financial transaction systems
- Knowledge of MUMPS, VistA, and other VA systems
