This role will be pivotal in driving supplier performance enhancements, focusing on quality, cost, and delivery. By collaborating with suppliers to establish strong partnerships aligned with Stryten Energy's requirements, this position will play a critical role in the Quality team.

Job Description

This Manufacturing Quality Assurance Specialist will work closely with suppliers to develop and continuously improve their capabilities in delivering high-quality products on-time. The successful candidate will:

  • Develop long-term supplier relationships and implement cost reduction ideas.
  • Write reports, maintain timelines, and log sheets for frequent updates.
  • Interface between suppliers and Stryten quality, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure design for manufacturability and design for testing alignment.
  • Strategically lead supplier performance improvement projects to increase supplier capability in consistently meeting Stryten requirements.
  • Screen, evaluate, and implement supplier Value Add/Value Engineering proposals.
  • Drive documentation best practices with the Engineering team.
  • Contribute as a core team member on transition projects.
