POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Firearms Sales Specialist plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service and managing sales at the firearms counter. This position involves engaging with customers, providing expert advice, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for all hunting-related merchandise.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering world-class customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for every visitor.
  • Assist customers in identifying their needs and making informed purchasing decisions by:
    • Assessing customer requirements,
    • Offering tailored product recommendations,
    • Promoting membership programs and in-store services.
  • Ensure compliance with all necessary documentation and regulations, including accurate completion of required forms.
  • Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales area, ensuring all merchandise is readily available for customers.
  • Stay informed about product knowledge through ongoing training and development.
  • Keep abreast of current promotions and ensure proper pricing and signage are displayed.
  • Assist in seasonal merchandising and product placement strategies.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, stocked with necessary supplies.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 0-2 years in a retail environment.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
  • Strong understanding of firearms and ammunition.
  • Familiarity with federal and state regulations related to firearms.
  • Excellent customer service and sales skills.
  • Ability to merchandise and organize products effectively.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting of items up to 20 pounds, with team assistance for heavier items.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
