Job Title: Facilities Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Manager to join our team at WS Development. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring that they are well-maintained and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the maintenance and repair of property assets, including snow removal, landscaping, and trash removal.
  • Oversee the scheduling and completion of preventative and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Develop and implement a 5-year capital plan to maintain and enhance property assets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key municipal partners, tenants, and internal construction teams.
  • Partner with insurance companies and lenders on property-related inspections.
  • Manage vendors, contracts, and staff performance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of prior operations, facilities, or property management experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and other schematics.
  • Working knowledge of maintenance and operational functions.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Clear, concise communication skills.
  • Desire to work hard and with a strong sense of urgency.
