About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team at WS Development. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our properties, ensuring that they are well-maintained and running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the maintenance and repair of property assets, including snow removal, landscaping, and trash removal.
  • Develop and implement a 5-year capital plan to maintain and enhance property assets.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key municipal partners, including building code and fire safety officials.
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with tenants and support them in their needs.
  • Partner with internal construction and development teams to build and maintain properties.
  • Manage vendors, including contracts, insurance requirements, and day-to-day optimization of staffing and staff performance.
  • Conduct daily walk-throughs of properties to ensure physical assets are in good operating condition.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of prior operations, facilities, or property management experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and other schematics.
  • Working knowledge of maintenance and operational functions.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to work on multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
  • Clear, concise communication skills.
  • Desire to work hard and with a strong sense of urgency.
  • A team player, with a can-do, optimistic attitude.
  • Orientation toward innovation, learning, and trying new things.
  • Consistent focus on optimization and improvement.
  • High ethical standards and integrity.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
